Nicholas Hennink is a Christian artist with a powerful story of resilience, redemption, and a mission to inspire others. As an Advanced Care Paramedic for over a decade, he earned accolades such as the 2020 Canadian Paramedic of the Year, the Star of Life Award, and CBS Future 40 Under 40. However, behind these achievements, Nicholas battled PTSD and addiction, turning to destructive coping mechanisms to manage the weight of his trauma.
Everything changed when he surrendered his life to God and heard the divine promise: "I'll put the right people in place." With the unwavering support of his wife, Sheena, Nicholas began writing music that glorifies God and encourages others to find hope and healing through faith.
Today, Nicholas is driven to impact the Christian music world and to help first responders and the broken find solace and strength in their darkest moments. John Schlitt’s journey is a powerful testimony of redemption and grace. Known for his electrifying vocals and dynamic stage presence, John first gained fame during his eight-year stint with the band Head East in the 1970s. The group, celebrated for its raw energy and swagger, developed a loyal following and achieved multiple hits. However, in 1980, John’s career took a devastating turn when he was let go due to an out-of-control addiction to drugs and alcohol.
What followed was a downward spiral fueled by despair and addiction. Attempting to fill the void, John started another band, but his lack of focus and addiction led to its quick demise. Isolated and consumed by hopelessness, he saw no way out—until God intervened.
As John fought his inner demons, his wife, Dorla, found faith in Jesus Christ and began praying for him relentlessly. Initially resistant, John dismissed her newfound joy, but her unwavering love and persistence planted seeds of hope. One evening, at his lowest point, John reluctantly accompanied Dorla to meet with their pastor. That night, he surrendered his life to Christ and experienced a profound transformation.
Determined to follow God’s will, John stepped away from music, taking practical jobs to support his family. Yet, God had other plans. Five years later, John was called back into music—this time as the frontman for the Christian rock band Petra. Joining Petra in 1986, John brought his incredible vocal range and passion for Christ, helping the band achieve monumental success with four Grammy Awards, multiple Dove Awards, and over 16 albums that impacted millions worldwide.
Today, John Schlitt remains a bold voice for Jesus. With a career spanning decades, including six solo albums, he continues to inspire through his music and testimony. Whether onstage or off, John’s life is a reflection of God’s redeeming power and love. His message is clear: through Jesus Christ, we are victorious, and God’s plans for us are greater than anything we can imagine.

Gabriel Marchuk’s musical journey began with classical piano, violin, and Celtic fiddle music, but his passion for composing ignited at age 12 while scoring Lego animations. Raised in a Christian home, Gabriel knew of God but truly found faith in 2021 after hitting rock bottom. Spiritually shattered, he encountered God’s grace, which transformed his life and led him to write Christian songs that same day.Blending folk, cinematic, and acoustic styles with catchy hooks, Gabriel’s music reflects his diverse influences and deep faith. Today, his ministry uplifts and inspires, sharing hope and redemption through every song.
